Karate Practice

Kihon

Basics

Through practicing basics or 'Kihon', students have the opportunity to build strong foundations in their techniques as they progress further in their training and studies.

Kata

Performance

By utilising different techniques in a pre-determined set of moves, students perform a pattern of movements that builds muscle memory in the event of being surrounded by multiple attackers.

Kumite

Sparring

By sparring, students are able to push their skills, techniques and confidence to a new level in a supervised, yet dynamic way. Sparring only occurs at a later stage in training, and enables students to utilize techniques where the situation arises.
